Silver medal winner at the 2016 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. This medium-full bodied wine is smooth and fruity with soft tannins. Aromas of red fruit and sweet spice give way to the flavors of raspberry and vanilla with a subtle peppery finish.
400 cases made. These grapes are grown across the street from the winery by Leland Noma. The vines are 26 years old. Barbera grapes origininted in Italy. It’s a full bodied wine with black cherry and spice lingering on the finish. Barbera is best grown in hotter climates making Lodi a perfect growing appellation.
