Ingredients
  • 1 bottle Dog Day Red
  • 1/8 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 bags Martinelli's Mulling Spices
  • 1 strip orange zest (optional)
Directions

Place Dog Day Red, water, and sugar in saucepan.  Cook over medium heat until sugar has dissolved and wine just begins to simmer  Add Mulling Spices and orange zest.  Remove mulling spice bags after 7-8 minutes (steaping for more than 10 minutes will create a very tannic beverage and is not recommended).
