Viognier provides us with a rich and full-bodied style wine. Though the historical origin is unknown there is great possibility it came from Dalmatia, which is present day Croatia. Viognier seeks out sunny regions and cool nights, which helps the varietal to maintain its precious acidity and this is what makes Lodi AVA, a perfect place to grow Viognier.
This will be one you will want to swirl in your glass and enjoy with someone you love.
This Bordeaux varietal is known for it's full body, high acidity, and dark fruit flavors. Our 2018 Malbec has medium tannins, rich black cherry followed by slightly spicy oak flavors, and an easy finish, making it a great wine to pair with food or drink on its own.
As it's brilliant pink pigment glistens in your glass, this rosé smells of crisp apple and pear with delicate floral hints. Flavors intensify at first sip revealing bright notes of cranberry and ruby red grapefruit that are perfectly accentuated by the wine's cool refreshing acidity.
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Barbera. All three vineyards are next door to each other and have the same sandy soil for a lush fruit wine.
Each year's wines possess their own unique character and flavors that develop in a long series of "acts" directed by none other than the winemaker himself. It is in this final blend of the year that 12 barrels of various supporting actors come together in a beautiful embodiment of synergy; this wine is a creation in which the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts.
Italy's most planted grape, often synonymous with 'fine wine' in Tuscany, Sangiovese eagerly embraces theMediterranean-like climate of the Mokelumne River sub-AVA of Lodi. Hot sunny days ending with cool breezy evenings, combined with a long and dry growing season, fashion these slow to late ripeners to thrive with exuberance. With Sangiovese's relatively thin skin, this wine is lighter in color, yet saturated with rich, fruitdriven flavor, accentuated by its well-balanced structure.
Barbera, like most black grapes, contains a white flesh inside its dark outer skin. Traditionally used to make red wine, Barbera is an Italian varietal best known for its high levels of natural acidity coupled with bright fruity qualities. By carefully eliminating any skin to juice contact during the crushing and fermentation process, we have created a uniquely refreshing wine reminiscent of “summertime in a glass.” This brilliant full-bodied white wine resonates with vibrant acidity, singing in unison with its bounty of crisp fruit flavor.
One of the world's noble grape varietals, Syrah is a wine of complexity that commands both respect and intrigue for it's multi-faceted layer of fruit driven flavors. This Northern Rhone varietal does well in the warm days and cool nights in Lodi. Our Syrah beautifully embodies the varietal's character with it's rich depth of color and distinctive flavor profile and it will excite your taste buds with each silky sip.
One of the first grape varietals to be cultivated specifically for wine. The Romans found it growing in Burgandy, France around 2000 years ago. This grape varietal is known as one of the oldest grapes on the planet. Our Pinot is silky and fresh, with notes of cherry, cranberry & oak. These grapes are grown right here in the Mokelumne River sub-appelation of the Lodi AVA. Barrel aged for 12 months in French Oak. 100% Pinot Noir.
